St. Leonard’s Community Services are pleased to provide crisis intervention, counseling and supportive services for children, youth, and adults and/or their families at their walk in clinic located at 133 Elgin Street in Brantford. Services are available on a no appointment basis and there is no cost. The clinic can be reached by calling 519-759-8830.

The Canadian Cancer Society is looking for volunteer drivers, who using their own vehicles will transport cancer patients to and from cancer treatments at area and regional cancer clinics. They offer free training and mileage reimbursement.    Your compassion and sense of caring, will make a difference in the lives of these patients. Donations can be made to the Brantford Food Bank for any of their annual fundraising campaigns at 1100 Clarence St S, Suite 103a in Brantford. The food bank supports 2,500 people each month and relies upon community donations for funding its operations.
 
Aberdeen Health & Community Services is looking for volunteers to participate in their friendly volunteer visiting program and their hospice palliative care visiting program. Volunteers provide one-to-one support and friendship to isolated older clients or to adults with physical disabilities and disease who are living in their own homes. Donations to the Food Bank are not meeting the demand and Community Resource Service – CRS Food Bank & Distribution Service is asking for the community’s help in keeping the food supply adequate to meet the need. Donations of non-perishable items such as vegetables, soup, pork and beans, tuna and Kraft Dinner would be most helpful and can be dropped off at the Food Bank.
